Featuring Special Guest Speakers:

 

“The Challenging Triangle: Americans, Israelis and Arabs”

Internationally respected Professor of Political Science at UCLA and Director of Middle East Regional Security Programs for the Burkle Center for International Relations. Published author, lecturer and award winning authority on the Middle East, Professor Spiegel is an authority on the role of U.S. policy in shaping the Middle East conflict.

 

Award-winning documentarian with Frontline, CNN, 60 Minutes and other national news programs, whose work frequently explores the subject of terrorism in Israel. At the Teach-In Mr. Lewis will screen excerpts from his undercover profile of Hezbollah, “Party of God”, sharing his experiences and insights into the Islamist terror organization. Mr. Lewis is also co-founder of Comedy for Peace, an organization whose motto is “If we can laugh together, we can live together”.

 

  • Ricki Rosen – 12:00 and 2:40 PM (breakout sessions)

Jerusalem-based photographer and author of Transformations: from Ethiopia to Israel, about the rescue of Ethiopian Jews in the Operation Solomon airlift. Ms. Rosen has worked as a photojournalist for over twenty years, beginning in New York and the last sixteen years in Israel. She was a contract photographer for Time Magazine in Israel and her photographs have been published in all the major international publications, including Newsweek, People, the New York Times Magazine, Figaro, etc.
